Here at Owl Locksmiths and Security, we had been apart of the Checkatrade organisation for a around 10+ years and it worked extremely well. The relationship between them and us was excellent and at the time of leaving we had 271 top marked reviews, so what happened?
Unfortunately, Checkatrade became greedy and kept putting the costs up which considering that own main reason for using them was simply for the independent reviews we found rather intolerable, however, that was not the actual reason for the split.
We approached Checkatrade and the account manager agreed a rate that would not rise, the fees were paid monthly and then we kept getting hassled about unpaid fees. For the past 18 months atleast maybe slightly longer the telephone calls got longer, the emaios more frequent and each time it was sorted out, or so we thought. And then another call and another email and left hand never got to talk to the right hand so inneviatably we called it a day.
It was a shame that all the hard work put into getting people to add a review so that we could show case our relationship with our customers has gone.
However, currently and hopefully this will not change, if you wish to read some reveiews from Checkatrade, they can be seen by clicking the link on the website (or here) although no one can add a review.
