( 05th August 2013) .. Mrs Bates blew a fuse when the fuses blew in her house and she found that the fuse box was locked and she did not have a key. She called us after going over 24 hours without lights and we got the door open within a very short period of time.
We managed to gain entry via non destructive entry by jiggerling the lock. Other locksmiths will know exactly what I mean but it is a very effective method of entry to these types of locks.
The cabinet however came originally from Canada and due to its construction we were unable to change the lock as to do this we would have had to strip the box out and remove the fuses and the front case so it was decided to just immobilise the lock and just use the latching facility only.
