Sea Sanctuary is a unique Charity that offers health education on-board a large classic yacht.
They offer individuals an opportunity to experience life afloat through our residential programme, where our clients are encouraged to participate in one of our programmes. They support the needs of a variety of people of different ages, abilities and level of wellness.
Recently we were contacted by Joe Sabien the founder and CEO of the local charity based in Falmouth Cornwall.
Mr Sabien needed a portable cabin style classroom door lock to be checked out as it had failed after recently purchasing the unit.
We attended and investigated the fault to find the internal lock had indeed failed and would require a replacement.
Unfortunately the supplying company would not replace the lock free of charge despite the fact that I said we would fit it. But we did however manage to get them to send one at a slightly better cost than we could have provided.
Whilst fitting the lock and having a long and general conversation with Mr Sabien, we learnt a lot about why he started the charity and what the charity stands for and who benefits. As a company that, despite being a small family business also cares about our community we have agreed to undertake Sea Sanctuary`s locksmith needs labour free and they in turn will only pay for any parts that are needed.
Since this agreement, we have indeed untaken other jobs for the charity which include the fitting of a new lock to the office door, again all labour free.
From the moment I made contact with Owl Locksmiths and Security, I received the highest standard of professionalism. Barrie Howell came to view the job and was able to offer some very informed advice about my options. Barrie was prompt and efficient and tidied everything away after he had finished the job.
The costs were particularly reasonable (free to us as a small Charity!) and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company, and Barrie in particular, who was very pleasant and friendly.
As I understand it, Owl Locksmiths and Security offer a number of services and their prices (when not being kind to Charities) are extremely cost-effective.
