With the recent Coronavirus situation and the financial effect it is having and will continue to have for a great many people. Owl Locksmiths and Security are again offering our customers a way to save money on their much needed security work.
In 2018, Owl Locksmiths and Security were forced into registering for VAT, however, the charging of domestic customers VAT did not sit well with us and as such we refused to charge VAT to our Domestic customers but had no choice but to continue to charge it to our commercial customers.
This in itself is a major decision as it means that effectively we are paying the VAT to the taxman on their behalf. This is, as you can imagine, a significant saving to our customers and at the same time a large cost to ourselves.
Now, from the 1st June 2020, we are launching the Double Offer Card.
This card gives the customer the opportunity to either use the card themselves for a further 2 jobs saving either 10% or 15% on the total value before VAT or if they wish they can hand it to another person for their benefit.
The card has to be used within a period of 24 months and as stated either offer can be used first but only once. These cards will only be issued after the initial job has been completed at full cost but can then be used straight after on any job we receive.
These cards can also be used by businesses, however, the only difference is that the VAT for the business is still chargeable as it would be if the cards were not used.
The cards can be used for any job with a total value before VAT of £1000.00 which is a respectable saving for the customer.
