As a locksmith, we see many different situation’s…
Most are run-of-the-mill jobs, basic gain entries, lock replacements, lock fitting, key cutting et cetera, but then once in a while you get that call that puts a smile on your face and a story to tell at parties for years to come and you also realise that having lots of money is no substitute for stupidity and this was one of them.
This was a genuine call!
A well off businessman running late to an appointment gets to his sports car only to realise he had locked his keys inside it earlier that day. He called the locksmith and was told that it will be about 45 minutes to arrival.
With this the customer panics and asks “Could you get here any quicker please?!
The top is down on my sports car and it looks like rain!”.
Oh how I wish I could have seen the look on his man’s face when the penny dropped!
